LOOPING MONT BLANC
After a series of videos in the Dolomiti and in Nepal, in July 2024 Federico Casagrande brought his music and filming gear to the Tour du Mont Blanc trek.
Being a loop trail around Mont Blanc he decided to create improvised music based on loops.
During the 10 days trek he would find spots along the route; often he would leave the mountain shelter early in the morning to catch the sunrise; other times he would stop along the trail when he would find a place that inspired him.
Equipped with a foldable guitar, a loop pedal and a field recorder he could basically play and record music everywhere.
Filming material consisted of two GoPros, one iPhone and one drone.
The outcome of this project is an album “LOOPING MONT BLANC” and a music documentary consisting in 20 videos filmed in 13 different locations.
